Who We Serve

Home health care allows many types of people to stay in the comfort of their own homes while receiving professional caregiver treatment and monitoring.

Getting medical or non-medical home health care can be a temporary solution for loved ones recovering from surgery, going through rehab or regaining independence after an accident or injury. Or, home care can be long term and ongoing for loved ones with chronic conditions, serious illness or lifelong disabilities.

While families do amazing work giving their loved ones love, support and assistance, sometimes it takes a professional to provide a higher level of medical care or to meet a person’s round-the-clock needs. Even the most devoted family caregivers can benefit from the professional assistance and the opportunity for respite offered by home health care services.

Who is a good candidate for Belvedere Home Care?

  • Seniors who need assistance with personal care needs but want to stay in their own homes.
  • People who need assistance and care as they recover from surgery, accidents or injuries.
  • People who need help with household tasks, meal preparation or pet care.
  • People who need assistance with personal hygiene care.
  • People who require 24-hour monitoring and attention.
  • People who need transportation support to appointments and other activities.

  • Veterans and their families.

Mental Health Challenges

Clients with mental health issues need as much attention and care as those with physical ailments.

Belvedere caregivers offer medical care and even daily support to those with mental disorders.

Common mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, PTSD and others can make it difficult for people to be motivated about self-care. They may neglect eating or personal grooming. They may find it difficult to leave the house for a doctor’s appointment or to shop for necessities.

A Belvedere Home Care caregiver can monitor clients with these common conditions to make sure they are staying on schedule for medications and appointments and to help them get through daily tasks.

Those with mental illnesses such as schizophrenia can also benefit from a watchful eye tracking their medications and enforcing doctors’ orders.

Our caregivers are specially trained to work with clients who have these and other mental disorders – and to treat every client with respect, understanding and compassion.

Behavioral Challenges

Mental and physical health problems can manifest themselves in behavioral issues.

People can be angry or frustrated by new limitations. Or their medication changes their moods. Or they just stubbornly refuse to follow doctor’s orders.

Belvedere Home Care caregivers have worked with people who have all types of conditions and challenges. Our caregivers have special training to not only cope with behavioral issues as they happen but to look for the root of the issue so a client can feel more comfortable and cooperative.

Our caregivers work closely with the client’s medical team, so we have a full understanding of any and all health concerns and medications. We work with the team to spot and stop the underlying cause of behavioral issues whenever possible.

We also get to know our clients and can tell when something is not right with their mood or attitude. If a docile and friendly person becomes hostile or withdrawn, it can be the sign of a serious medical problem, such as an infection or a drug interaction.

Clients with behavioral issues need care that goes above and beyond, and that’s what Belvedere caregivers provide.

Diabetes

People with diabetes and other endocrine system disorders may need help maintaining a healthy diet, managing their insulin and medications and performing required blood tests.

Our caregivers can assist clients with diabetes and related disorders, which can affect metabolism and mood, cause discomfort and impact systems throughout the body.

Our trained staff can help maintain daily health and track symptoms and indicators for other health care providers. We can also educate families about special dietary needs and help prepare meals that are appropriate for a client’s nutritional needs and health conditions.
