A Personal Care Aide (PCA) helps clients with daily activities and household tasks in their homes. Belvedere PCAs can work on a short-term or long-term basis, assisting clients with personal care, errands, transportation, and even meal preparation.

 

Belvedere PCAs can assist clients with:

 

  • Bathing
  • Toileting
  • Shopping
  • Laundry
  • Meal preparation, including special dietary needs
  • Transportation
  • Medical appointments
  • Pet care
  • Assistance with transfers
  • Assistance with ambulation

A Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) has the training needed to monitor and assist with a client’s basic healthcare needs under the guidance of an RN. Because HHAs see clients on a frequent, regular basis, they are often the first to notice changes in a client’s health and alert their healthcare team. 

 

Belvedere HHAs help people with:

 

  • Bathing
  • Toileting
  • Shopping
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Assist meal preparation
  • Transportation
  • Medical appointments
  • Basic health monitoring including blood pressure
  • Assistance with transfers
  • Assistance with ambulation

Belvedere has Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) on staff for home health care services around the clock, every day. We provide RN oversight on every case that’s tailored to your loved one’s individual needs.

 

Belvedere nurses can: 

 

  • Assist with hospital discharges
  • Monitor blood pressure and other vital signs
  • Glucose testing
  • Provide post-surgical care
  • Provide education to clients and families
  • Perform wound care and change dressings
  • Teach and manage ostomy/colostomy care
  • Manage medication and talk to doctors or pharmacists
  • Give injections
  • Tracheostomy and ventilator care
  • Manage urinary catheters
  • Provide 24-hour care and overnight care

 

Also, our RNs conduct ongoing health assessments to make sure your plan matches your needs.

Sometimes all someone needs to feel better is a friendly face and some warm conversation. Our Companions enjoy spending time with our clients and engaging in hobbies. They are also able to provide light housework services, shopping, and other tasks that may be difficult for senior clients or those with limited mobility,

 

Companions are available for:

 

  • Social interaction:
    • Spending quality time with your loved one
    • Chatting and listening
    • Playing board/card games
    • Transportation to doctor appointments and other outings

 

  • Daily household tasks, including:
    • Keep planning/preparing meals
    • Light housekeeping and laundry
    • Changing bed linens
    • Shopping and running errands
    • Medication reminders
    • Assistance with pet care
